Stora Harrie kyrka stands in the Skåne village of Stora Harrie, part of Kävlinge parish in the diocese of Lund. Though first built around 1200, its present appearance owes much to a thorough 19th-century rebuilding, leaving only fragments of the medieval structure intact.

The church's origins lie around 1200, with a tower thought to have been added in the 1400s. In the mid-19th century the medieval building was so extensively restored, under the direction of cathedral architect Carl Georg Brunius, that the work amounted almost to a rebuilding. Brunius, who favoured medieval forms as the truest expression of church architecture, restored and built many churches across Skåne in this spirit. The rebuilt church, in round-arched style using dressed granite, was consecrated in November 1852. Only the lower part of the original tower survived this campaign.

A few medieval traces remain visible. In the porch are fragments of wall paintings from the second half of the 15th century depicting the Descent from the Cross. Built into the south wall of the nave is part of a Viking Age rune stone, known as the Stora Harrie stone, said to have been found lying in the old church floor when the medieval nave was demolished; its inscription records that Berle raised the stone in memory of his son-in-law Toke.

A further restoration in the 1970s gave the church its current light interior. During this work, graves predating the Romanesque church were discovered beneath the floor, thought to belong to an earlier timber church, though its exact location could not be established. The altar dates from this 1973 restoration and was designed by master builder Nils Persson; a list of parishioners and a newspaper cutting concerning the recently deceased King Gustaf VI Adolf were reportedly built into its base.//An earlier altarpiece, painted in 1939 by Einar Forseth and depicting the Resurrection, includes a view of the church itself; it was later moved to the mortuary chapel, and a gilded cross now hangs in its former place in the chancel.

Other notable furnishings include a font of Öland limestone from 1955, designed by architect Gustaf Wilhelmsson Widmark, who also designed the pews. A triumphal crucifix from the late 15th century, attributed to the painter Hans Holst and containing a relic cavity, was kept at Lund University's historical museum until 1974, when it was returned to the church and mounted at the opening to the north transept. On the south wall of the south transept hangs a carved royal coat of arms of Charles XII from 1701, by sculptor Johannes Andrae.

The pulpit and its canopy were designed by Brunius himself, with the decoration and colouring on the parapet added in 1957. The church's organ, dating from the 1860s, has been rebuilt and altered more than once, most recently in the twenty-first century. Two bells hang in the tower, both said to have been cast in Stockholm and inscribed with the names of the reigning king, provincial governor, bishop, incumbent and churchwardens of the time.
