Rängs kyrka, in the village of Räng in Skåne, has stood since the mid-1100s. Its Romanesque nave and chancel were raised in sandstone and rubble, with flint, and the church still serves its parish community today.

The original medieval church was more elaborate than the building seen now. Inside stood three stone pillars—one square, two octagonal—supporting six ribbed vaults whose crossing lines and shadows must have made a striking impression. The chancel was originally longer and ended in an apse, which was demolished in the 1400s and replaced by the three-sided east end still visible today, built in brick along with the tower added around 1520; both feature decorative blind arcading.

A thorough restoration in 1880–81, overseen by the architect Helgo Zettervall, transformed the interior dramatically. The medieval vaulting was removed, the nave lengthened and the chancel shortened, and buttresses and a north porch were demolished, all in keeping with Zettervall's wish for an unobstructed 'Lutheran' worship space. The Renaissance-era altarpiece, pulpit and font were taken out in line with contemporary taste and are now held at Kulturen museum in Lund; the current altar and pulpit are painted in imitation oak. The vault decoration and portrait medallions above the altar were painted by Svante Thulin, and the surrounding imagery depicts the four evangelists around a figure of Christ.

Two medieval wooden sculptures removed from the church—a Madonna dated to around 1225–1250 and a mid-15th-century group showing Anna, the Virgin Mary and the infant Jesus—are now kept at the Historical Museum at Lund University; both have suffered damage over time, with missing heads or limbs. A modern copy of the Anna group gives its name to the parish hall, S:ta Annasalen.,

Beneath the altar lies a small burial vault, and a display case near the stairs to the gallery holds the church's silver. The wrought-iron chandelier, dating from the late 1800s, is said to be one of only two such examples in Sweden. The porch contains memorial stones and an epitaph commemorating several former incumbents of the parish, spanning the 17th and 18th centuries.

An organ built in 1752 by Christian Fredrik Hardt was later replaced; the current mechanical organ dates from 1968, built by the Frederiksborg workshop in Denmark. A related choir organ from 1974 by the same builder was sold and moved to Önnarps kyrka in 2025.
