Oskars kyrka is a wooden church at Alsjöholm near Nybro, in Kalmar län, notable as an unusually late example of a timber church built during a period when stone construction was officially preferred. Set beside a freestanding bell tower, it welcomes visitors with a light, simply decorated interior.

Built in 1866 to designs by the architect Johan Erik Söderlund, the church broke with a royal ordinance of 1776 that had discouraged the construction of new churches in wood, favouring brick, marble, sandstone or granite instead. It is thought that the ready supply of timber from the surrounding forests, and perhaps the fact that an earlier wooden chapel had stood on the site, led the parish to build in horizontal log construction rather than stone. Rather than being lime-washed like a masonry church, the exterior was finished with wooden panelling. The church was consecrated in 1870 by Paulus Genberg, bishop of the diocese of Kalmar.

No tower was built for the new church; instead, a bell tower erected as recently as 1862 was retained alongside it, and still stands today.

Inside, the rectangular nave with its apsidal chancel is airy and light, an effect enhanced by the coved ceiling from which several crystal chandeliers hang. The altarpiece, depicting Christ with a child, was painted in 1904 by Oskar Thörn of Gullabo and is flanked by two narrow, simply decorated chancel windows. The altar stands free within a three-sided altar rail, and the chancel also contains a sandstone font. The pulpit, with its sounding board, matches the plainness of the room, its panels left unpainted, while the pews are fitted with doors opening onto the centre aisle.

The church has had several organs over the years. An 1882 instrument by E. A. Setterquist & Son of Örebro was later replaced, and the current organ, built in 1972 by Nils-Olof Berg of Nye, retains the case front from that 1882 instrument.

The church underwent renovation, inside and out, completed in 2021.
