Nyskoga kyrka is a wooden church near Flatåsen in Torsby kommun, in Värmland, built in 1926–27 to designs by the architect Bror Almquist for what was then the youngest parish carved from the Finn Forest settlements.

The history of this remote parish is bound up with the Forest Finns, immigrant slash-and-burn farmers whose settlement shaped the economy and landscape of northern Värmland from the 17th century onwards. Nyskoga itself was only separated from Norra Ny parish in the 1870s, reflecting the area's late and gradual growth.

The parish's first church, a large wooden building designed by Axel Nyström and completed in the mid-1870s, was intended to serve an expanding population of around 600. That growth never fully materialised, and within about fifty years the building was judged far too large for the parish's needs. It was replaced by the present church, completed in 1927 to designs by Bror Almquist, who drew on older Värmland church traditions to create a more modest, traditionally styled building.

The church stands on a stone foundation and comprises a rectangular nave with a chancel to the east, a west tower set slightly into the nave, and a transept with sacristy on the north side. The roof is hipped and slate-clad, while the tower has a copper-clad cap rising to a slender spire. Inside, the walls and ceiling are lined with painted timber panelling, decorated by the artist Yngve Lundström with his assistant Gustav Ambe; the nave ceiling forms a tall trefoil vault, and the chancel has a coved wooden ceiling. Most of the fixed furnishings, including a hexagonal wooden font with a carved lid, date from the building of the church and were designed by Almquist himself.//The pulpit, mounted on the wall, was likewise built in 1927 to his design.

The altarpiece, a triptych by the artist Olle Hjortzberg, is the church's most distinctive feature. Sources differ slightly on its subject: one account describes the painting as depicting the crowned, thorn-bearing Christ, while another identifies the theme as the legend of Veronica's veil, the cloth said to bear an image of Christ's face. Either way, it remains a striking focal point of an otherwise plain, timber-lined interior.

The church also has a pneumatic organ built in 1927 by the Örebro firm E A Setterquist & Son, later modified in 1959.
