Nybro kyrka, the parish church of Nybro in Kalmar county, was consecrated in 1934 and serves the Nybro-S:t Sigfrids parish within the Diocese of Växjö. Built in dark brick, it stands as a notable example of early twentieth-century Swedish church architecture.

The idea of building a church in the growing community of Nybro was first raised as early as 1910, when the Bishop of Kalmar diocese, Henry Tottie, visited the area during a time when Nybro still belonged to Madesjö parish. Nybro was later elevated to town status in 1931, and construction of the church began in earnest during the 1920s. The parish hall section was completed in 1929, followed by the nave and tower, with the finished church consecrated on the first Sunday of Advent in 1934 by Bishop Sam Stadener.

Designed by the architect J Fred Olson, the building blends neoclassicism, Art Nouveau and functionalist influences, executed in dark brick. It measures 50 metres in length and 18 metres in width, with a striking 44-metre tower featuring paired sound openings, a helm-shaped roof, an onion-domed lantern with a clock, and a spire topped by a ringed cross and weathercock. Inside, the exposed roof-truss construction gives the nave a distinctive, open character. The church underwent renovations in 1959 and 1984.

The altarpiece, depicting Christ preaching, was painted by Gunnar Theander and is set within an altar surround featuring pilasters and a Trinity symbol in a radiant sun motif. In the Mariakapellet (Chapel of Mary) hangs an icon triptych by Lars Gerdmar, accompanied by textiles designed by Hans Krondahl and a sculpture of the Madonna and Child. A striking triumphal crucifix by Eva Spångberg hangs in the chancel arch — a replica of the medieval crucifix in Pelarne church.

Other furnishings include a wooden font with a richly decorated basin, and a pulpit reached from the sacristy. Among the church's textiles are chasubles woven in damask with a pattern of music-making angels, created by the Värmland weaver and landowner Carl Widlund.

The church houses several organs, including a gallery organ built in 1994 by Grönlunds Orgelbyggeri, replacing earlier instruments dating back to 1887, and a chancel organ from 1989–1990 by the same builder, following an earlier mechanical organ installed in 1975.
