Västra Sönnarslövs kapell is a small brick chapel in Sönnarslöv, part of Kvidinge in the Åstorp municipality of Skåne. Built to serve as a burial chapel on the site of a former medieval church, it belongs to Kvidinge parish within the Diocese of Lund.

The chapel stands on ground once occupied by a medieval church, which was replaced in 1894 by the present Västra Sönnarslövs kyrka about two kilometres to the south-east. Even after the old church was demolished, burials continued at the historic churchyard, and the need for a dedicated burial chapel led local benefactor Augusta Lasson to leave her estate in 1936 for its construction.

The chapel was built in 1938 by the brothers Pålsson, to designs by master mason Sture Svensson of Kvidinge, and was consecrated in February 1939. It was sited a little south-east of where the medieval church had stood.

The building is a simple brick structure with a nave running east–west, an entrance at the east end and a lower, five-sided apse to the west. The roughcast, whitewashed walls and red-tiled roof give it a plain, functional character typical of rural chapels of its period, while the plinth is faced in natural stone.

Inside, the floor is laid with reddish-brown brick, and the chancel is raised two steps above the rest of the room. The walls are plastered in pale yellow, and the open timber ceiling, lined with masonite and painted with brown stripes, rises to the ridge. A wooden chandelier with seven electric lights hangs at the centre of the room, flanked by open pews.

Several furnishings reflect the chapel's history: the altar, a rendered block altar with a polished grey limestone top, dates from the time of its construction, while the font, made from a tree trunk felled in the churchyard, was introduced in 2006, with a silver bowl placed on it for baptisms. A bronze altar cross was added in 1989, and a pulpit lectern in stained pine is thought to be contemporary with the chapel itself.

In the churchyard stands a free-standing wooden bell tower built in 1953, modelled on the one at Perstorp church, topped with a weathercock rescued from the old medieval church. Its bell, cast the same year, carries an inscribed hymn verse. A wooden cross erected in 1959 marks the site where the medieval church itself once stood.
