Västra Karaby kyrka stands in the village of Västra Karaby, some five kilometres west of Kävlinge in Skåne, and serves as the parish church of Dösjebro församling within the Diocese of Lund. It is a good example of Swedish neoclassical church building of the early nineteenth century.

The present church was built between 1822 and 1826, replacing an earlier medieval building, to designs by county master builder G. Soffel, later revised by Axel Almfelt at the Office of the Surveyor of the Royal Palaces (Överintendentsämbetet). It was consecrated on the first Sunday of Advent in 1826 by Bishop Wilhelm Faxe. The church is built largely of brick, though the tower's older sections retain stone from the earlier structure; the tower itself was heightened and given its current form in 1864, when the pointed-arch windows were also added. Inside, the nave is covered by a barrel vault, and the tower is topped with a small lantern.

Among the church's furnishings is an oak triumphal crucifix dating from the early fifteenth century, a notable survival from the earlier medieval church. The altarpiece was made in 1596 and later renovated, receiving its present paintings from H. Lütken in 1703. The pulpit, which lacks a sounding board, is contemporary with the altarpiece. A memorial epitaph commemorates the parish vicar Niels Christensen, who died in 1639. The font and font altar date from 1951, and the open pew arrangement seen today was introduced in 1909.

The church has had two organs of note. The first was built in 1853 by Sven Fogelberg of Lund, with eleven stops across manual and pedal. It was replaced in 1897 by a mechanical organ built by Salomon Molander & Co of Gothenburg, which remains in the church.
