Uppsala-Näs kyrka is a medieval parish church standing beside Näsviken, a bay of Lake Mälaren in Uppsala län. Its site was once linked to Uppsala Cathedral, and the church still stands within a churchyard that holds an unusual survival from its predecessor.

The land at Näs was given to Uppsala Cathedral towards the end of the 1200s, and this early connection shaped the site's development. An earlier stone-planned church was apparently abandoned in favour of a timber building, whose foundations were partly uncovered during archaeological investigation in 1991. What survives from that period is a freestanding stone sacristy in the churchyard, built of granite and brick sometime between the mid-1200s and late 1300s. Such detached medieval stone sacristies are relatively common in Finland, but this is said to be the only known example in Sweden, making it a distinctive survival worth seeking out among the gravestones.

The present church building dates from the 1400s, raised slightly higher on the churchyard where the ground was more stable than at the earlier site. Around the start of the 1500s the church interior received its stone vaulting, and a sacristy was added on the north side during the 1500s or 1600s. A porch of wood originally stood before the south doorway; a stone replacement built in 1666 was demolished in 1843, after which the current porch was formed beneath the organ loft at the west end.

Built of grey granite with brick used in the gable ends and window surrounds, the church has a rectangular nave and a straight-ended chancel of the same width. The interior is divided into three bays: the chancel and the eastern nave bay have star vaults, while the western bay has a rib vault. Notably, the walls have never been decorated with paintings. Heavy iron bands encircle the building, installed to prevent the stonework from cracking further - a visible reminder of past structural concerns. The church was rendered over in 1843, having previously shown its bare grey stonework.

Inside, the font is the oldest fitting, dating from around 1200, with a marbled paint finish added in 1665. The pulpit dates from the 1600s and was fitted with a sounding board in 1780 when it was moved to its present position on the north wall. An altar cabinet from the mid-1400s and a German-made Madonna figure from the 1430s are among the older devotional objects noted in the church. The current organ dates from 1859 and has been rebuilt more than once since.

The interior was restored in 1941, when fixed pews were installed, and the church underwent further building work between 2005 and 2007, when subsidence beneath the floor was addressed, a brick floor with underfloor heating replaced the limestone flooring, and the fixed pews gave way to movable seating. A detached bell tower stands on a wooded rise north of the church, holding two bells.
