Tynnereds kyrka is a large brick church in the Tynnered district of Gothenburg, built to seat around 300 people. Completed in the early 1970s, it forms part of a wider parish complex on the hill known as Kyrkberget, and remains the main church of Tynnereds församling.

The present church was built between 1971 and 1973 to designs by architect Stig Johansson of John Snis's architectural practice, replacing an earlier temporary 'wandering church' erected on the site in 1967, which was later moved and became Grevegården's church. The new building was consecrated on the Feast of the Annunciation in 1973 by Bishop Bertil Gärtner.

The church forms part of a group of buildings arranged around a courtyard at the top of the hill, including the main worship space joined to parish rooms, a separate administration building, and a freestanding bell tower built of brick and black timber. The complex is unified by its dark brick façades, both inside and out, enlivened with copper detailing, while the floors throughout are laid with ceramic tiles.

Inside, the church has notably high ceilings, with a straight-ended chancel spanning the full width of the building at the western end, and a side aisle containing a baptismal chapel to the south. The interior was originally sparsely decorated, though later additions have introduced more furnishings and artwork over the years.

Among the church's notable furnishings is a wooden triptych with icons painted by Erland Forsberg, acquired in 1987, and a sculpture by Torsten Renqvist positioned in the right-hand side of the chancel. The organ, with 22 stops, was built by Hammarbergs Orgelbyggeri.

The large cross on the altar wall remains the visual focus of the warm-toned brick interior, and the parish hall stands directly adjoining the church hall, reflecting the building's design as a combined space for worship and community life.
