Tuna kyrka is a medieval parish church in the Kiladalens församling, near Nyköping in Södermanland. Visible from road 800, it stands as one of the district's larger historic churches, with origins reaching back to the 1200s and a rich collection of furnishings gathered over centuries.

The church was built in the thirteenth century, when it ranked among the largest in Södermanland, and appears to have been constructed in two stages: the upper parts of the walls are brick, suggesting a later heightening of the original structure. A porch was added in the 1400s, and during the early 1500s the wooden ceiling of the nave was replaced with brick vaulting, with the chancel vaulted by the century's end. Windows were enlarged in the 1600s and 1700s, and the tower seen today dates from 1877, when it replaced an older detached bell frame.

For much of its history the exterior brickwork was left unplastered, apparently painted a dark red, until rendering was applied around 1860. Cast-iron windows fitted at that time were later removed during a 1940s renovation. Inside, medieval wall paintings above the chancel arch, thought to date from the early 1300s, were uncovered in 1934 after having been whitewashed over. Further paintings in the chancel, with biblical scenes attributed to the painter Peder and dated to around 1620, were rediscovered in 1900 but restored quite heavily at the time.

Among the church's furnishings is a north German carved shrine from the late 1400s, depicting figures of Mary and Joseph that were not originally made as a pair but joined together later; both were removed to the museum in Strängnäs in 1910, with the Mary figure returning to the church in 1943 and the shrine itself remounted only in 1972. A damaged wooden Christ figure, once part of a triumphal crucifix and thought to date from around 1450, is now kept at the Strängnäs church museum owing to its poor condition, having lost its arms and original paintwork; it closely resembles a similar figure from Tunaberg church.

The church retains a number of older grave slabs set into the floor, though not all originated here — several were brought in from the churchyard when the floor was relaid in 1806. Notable among them are memorials to local landowners and clergy from the 1600s and 1700s, including members of the de Besche family. Silverware of note includes a partly gilded jug of north German origin, given to the church by Hubert and Maria de Besche at the end of the 1500s, and a pair of silver candlesticks bearing Amsterdam hallmarks from the 1660s.

The church bells were recast in 1916, replacing older bells said to date from the late medieval period and the early 1700s respectively. The present main organ, built in 1949, retains a façade from an earlier 1890 instrument designed by the architect Ragnar Östberg; a smaller mechanical chancel organ was added in 1980.
