Säffle kyrka is the town church of Säffle, built to designs by architect Gunnar Bornö and inaugurated in May 1965. It forms part of a larger complex with parish buildings and a freestanding bell tower.

The church is faced externally with reddish-brown brick, said to have come from Höganäs, beneath a shallow, copper-clad roof. The nave and chancel form a single unglazed hall-like space rather than two distinct areas, with the altar positioned to the south; sources agree the building runs north-south, though the exact placement of ancillary rooms is described slightly differently between accounts. Internally the walls are of limewashed brick, the floor is planed limestone, and the flat ceiling is of unpainted timber.

A striking feature is the glass mosaic used for the chancel window and the window beside the font, both created by the artist Sven Erixson (also known as Sven X:et Erixson). The altarpiece is an unpainted carved wooden relief by the sculptor Sven Lundqvist, and the altar cross and candlesticks were made by the silversmith Sigurd Persson.

Other furnishings of note include a stone font on the south side of the chancel, a varnished pine pulpit to the north, and a tapestry hung in the sacristy depicting the building of Noah's Ark, with imagery drawn from the catacombs of Rome. A votive ship representing the Vänern lake vessel Tor was given to the church when it was built; it originally hung above the entrance but was moved to the chancel wall beside the altar during a later renovation.

The freestanding bell tower to the west, with a brick base and a copper-clad upper section topped by a cross, was not completed until 1984, some years after the church itself. The church also has a mechanical-action organ installed in the 1970s, built by A. Magnussons orgelbyggeri.
