Ramsjö kyrka is a white-painted timber church beside Lake Hennan in the forested north of Hälsingland, in Gävleborg County. Built in 1837 to designs by S. Enander, it is the northernmost church in the diocese of Uppsala and remains the parish church of Ljusdal-Ramsjö.

The church's origins lie in Ramsjö's growth as a chapel community, formed out of Ljusdal parish in 1852, though the building itself dates earlier, to 1837. Sources differ slightly on the consecration date, with one giving 1841 and another 1844, so the exact year is uncertain. Ramsjö functioned as its own parish from 1861 to 1973 before joining the Ljusdal pastorate.

As first built, the church had a rectangular nave with the tower at the east end, its ground floor serving as a sacristy. A significant remodelling in 1878 moved the main tower to the west gable, though the base of the old east tower was retained, still used as a sacristy. A further rebuilding in 1907–08, to designs by architect E. A. Hedin, divided the hall-like nave into three aisles, altered the pews, and replaced the original combined altar-and-pulpit arrangement with a free-standing pulpit on the north wall. The exterior, shaped by these nineteenth and early twentieth-century changes, combines neoclassical and neo-Gothic touches, with panelled walls, pilaster-divided window bays, and a tower crowned by a lantern and spire.

The interior colour scheme has changed more than once: a 1958–59 renovation under architect Johan Thomé altered the decoration and seating, but the church was returned to an earlier colour scheme in 1991–92. The tower, added in 1878, originally carried only a painted clock face; a working tower clock was not installed until 1912. The spire has twice caught fire after lightning strikes, in 1928 and 1935, on both occasions extinguished before serious damage occurred. Rot damage discovered in the spire led to reinforcement and restoration work in 2002.

Among the furnishings, the altarpiece was painted in 1933 by the artist Hugo Borgström, who also decorated the pulpit. The font was donated to the church in 1933 by the then vicar, E. Härdelin, and an altar crucifix of maple on an oak base was given in 1959 by a local well-driller. The two bells in the tower date from 1836 and 1869. The church has had a succession of organs, including instruments moved and rebuilt from elsewhere in the region, with the current organ built in 1969–70 by Grönlunds Orgelbyggeri.
