Öxnehagakyrkan is the district church serving Öxnehaga, a multicultural neighbourhood on the heights south of Huskvarna. Built alongside the surrounding housing area in the 1970s, it remains a distinctive local landmark within its planned town centre setting.

Öxnehagakyrkan was designed as part of the wider development of Öxnehaga centrum, known locally at the time as "the white town", which began construction in the early 1970s. The church was created by architect Åke Forsberg together with interior architect Gunilla Forsberg, and was deliberately placed at the heart of the new residential centre alongside shops and other community buildings, reflecting an integrated approach to planning church and neighbourhood together.

The building was completed in 1976 and formally consecrated on the Saturday before Advent Sunday, 27 November that year.

The most striking feature inside is the large altar textile on the eastern wall, measuring roughly 5.5 by 7 metres and made of linen and silk. It was created by textile artist Inger Sarin, based on a watercolour design by Gunilla Forsberg, and depicts a theme described as "a burning faith".

The church also has a mechanical pipe organ, built in 1978 by the Danish firm Bruno Christensen & Sønner, a modest but notable example of period organ-building in the region.
