Norrahammars kyrka is a yellow timber church at the heart of Norrahammar, easily recognised by its tall shingled roof and red bell tower. Consecrated as a chapel in 1930 at the initiative of works manager Eric Hedenblad, it has long served as a focus for worship and community life.

The church was built in 1930 to designs by the architect Göran Pauli, and was dedicated that same year as a chapel rather than a full parish church, reflecting its origins as a place of worship for the local ironworks community. Its wooden construction, with a steep, shingle-clad roof and a separate red-painted bell tower, gives it a distinctive silhouette that sets it apart from the stone churches more typical of the wider region.

Inside, the altarpiece is a notable feature: a painting by the artist Georg Pauli depicting Christ's agony in the Garden of Gethsemane, with the sleeping disciples shown at his side. It offers visitors a quiet, contemplative focal point within the otherwise simple interior.

The church has two organs. The original instrument, built in 1930 by Mårtenssons orgelfabrik of Lund, has eleven stops. A second, mechanical organ was added to the gallery in 1976, built by Västbo Orgelbyggeri of Långaryd. Together they reflect the changing tastes in Swedish church organ building across the twentieth century.
