Fryele kyrka is a parish church in the village of Fryele, near Värnamo in Jönköping County, Sweden. Built in the 1780s to replace a decayed medieval predecessor, it stands on a site of Christian worship recorded since the late 13th century.

A church has stood on this site since at least 1299, when a priest named Geniutus is said to have granted land here for the purpose. That medieval church measured around 27 metres long, with an unusually tall tower reportedly reaching almost 35 metres. It suffered a serious fire in 1568, which also destroyed the neighbouring rectory, though the church itself was saved and repaired.

By the late 18th century the old building was too small and too dilapidated to repair again, so the parish built anew. The present stone church was constructed between 1788 and 1792, to designs attributed to the architect Thure Wennberg, and was consecrated in 1795 by Bishop Olof Wallquist. The rectangular nave has a three-sided chancel to the east and a west tower with the main entrance; a sacristy was added to the north of the chancel. The nave and tower roofs are covered in black-painted sheet metal, while the tower's lantern is finished in white.

Several furnishings survive from the earlier medieval church. The granite font is thought to date from the first half of the 13th century, making it by far the oldest object inside, and its font basin is dated 1622. A wooden triumphal crucifix from the Middle Ages hangs on the south wall of the nave; the cross itself and restoration of the figure are said to date from the 1930s.

Among the more curious survivals is a set of stocks, acquired in 1750 and kept in the porch as a stark reminder of earlier forms of parish discipline. The two bells in the tower have different reported dates in the sources: one account gives 1656 and 1742, another gives 1818 and 1742, so visitors should treat the smaller bell's date as uncertain.

The altarpiece, depicting Christ at Gethsemane, was painted in 1795 by the court painter Jonas Berggren, shortly after the church's completion. The pulpit, with its four-sided body, was made the following year by Lars Wennerholm. The church also has a mechanical organ built in 1853 by August Rosenborg of Vadstena, later renovated in the twentieth century.
