Norra Åkarps kyrka, in the village of Bjärnum in Skåne, is a late-nineteenth-century parish church built in 1882 on the site of an earlier medieval church. It belongs to Norra Åkarps församling in the Diocese of Lund.

The present church was consecrated on Sunday 23 July 1882, designed chiefly by Professor Johan Adolf Hawerman. It is built of whitewashed rubble stone and reflects the taste of its period, with large windows creating a bright, airy interior. A tower with a cross-topped spire stands at the west end, and the church terminates in a semicircular apse to the east.

The new building replaced a medieval church on the same site, which was demolished when construction began; sources differ on whether that earlier church dated from the twelfth or thirteenth century. In 1982 the parish marked the site of the old church with a wooden cross.

A restoration in 1930, led by cathedral architect Theodor Wåhlin, raised the chancel floor and introduced a new altarpiece by Hugo Gehlin of Helsingborg; before this the altar had apparently been marked simply by a large wooden cross. Further renovations followed in the 1950s and 1980s.

Among the church's notable furnishings are two large carved angel figures flanking the altar, made in the 1950s by the sculptor Henry Olsén of Bjärnum, each holding a Christian symbol representing faith, love, hope and eternal life. Olsén also carved the oak font in 1955, decorated with scenes from the childhood of Christ, while its silver bowl dates from 1756, the work of the goldsmith Peter Gadd of Kristianstad. A wooden dove attributed to the carver Green (or Bror Green) of Bjärnum sits beneath the pulpit's canopy, and the chancel windows are the work of the artist Stig Carlsson.

Older relics survive too: an epitaph of 1699 commemorating the vicar Hans Jöransson Feuk and his family hangs on the north wall, along with a monogram of Charles XI rescued from the old church. A medieval bell, cast in the fifteenth century and damaged during a funeral toll in 1928, is preserved in the porch, while two later bells hang in the tower. Other fittings from the earlier church, including a bridal canopy, an alms chest and a stocks for beggars, are now kept in the local museum at Bjärnum. The mechanical organ dates from 1973, built by Mårtenssons Orgelfabrik in Lund, incorporating the façade of an earlier 1884 instrument.
