Nordmarks kyrka is a timber-built cross-shaped church in Nordmark, Filipstad, within the diocese of Karlstad. Consecrated in 1731, it stands out for its unusual Rococo altarpiece and its history of careful restoration to preserve its original character.

Building work began in 1727 under master builder J. Junger, and although the church was consecrated in 1731, much remained unfinished: the ceiling was not completed until 1740, and the pews were not installed until 1766. The church has a log-built structure with a three-sided chancel to the east and cross-arms extending north and south, giving it its characteristic cruciform plan.

The sacristy east of the chancel was added in 1744, and porches at the western, southern and northern gables followed in 1760, after which the plan changed little. The exterior, with red-painted timber panelling beneath steep hipped roofs, is typical of churches of this period in the region. A freestanding bell tower, contemporary with the church itself, stands before the main western entrance; its lower section doubles as a covered lychgate.

The interior was substantially altered during a restoration in 1875, when the leaded window panes were replaced and a new colour scheme applied. A further restoration in 1938 sought, as far as possible, to reverse these changes and return the church closer to its original 18th-century appearance.

Among the fittings, the pulpit and altarpiece are of particular interest. The altarpiece, in a Rococo style described as unusual for the region, depicts the Saviour on the cross flanked by Mary and John, framed by acanthus scrollwork, ornamental carving and columns. Sources differ slightly on the pulpit's origin: one account attributes the present pulpit, made in Baroque style, to Isak Schullström in 1758–59, alongside two accompanying figures of Moses and Aaron by the same carver, while another source describes the surviving pulpit simply as part of the older fixed inventory without specifying a maker.

Other notable items include a stone font dating from the 13th century, one of the oldest surviving furnishings in the church. The organ was built in 1880 by Setterquist & Son with nine stops, and was substantially rebuilt and enlarged in 1950.
