Filipstads kyrka, standing beside the lake Daglösen in the centre of Filipstad, was built between 1779 and 1785 after fire had destroyed the town's earlier wooden church. Its restrained Gustavian design and fine altarpiece make it a rewarding stop for visitors to this Värmland town.
