Mangskogs kyrka is a parish church in Mangskog, Värmland, completed in the early 19th century to replace a smaller wooden church that had served the growing congregation since the early 1700s.

The earlier wooden church stood about 1.5 kilometres south of the present site. Sources differ slightly on its exact dates: one account records it as completed and consecrated around 1707–1709, while another simply describes it as built in the early 1700s. By the late 18th century the congregation had outgrown this building, and in 1805 Crown approval was given for a new church, with construction beginning a few years later. The old timber church was eventually sold in 1813 to Brunsbergs bruk, and the new stone church was consecrated in 1816.

The present building, designed by architects Bror Almquist and Henrik Måsbeck, is typical of early 19th-century Swedish church architecture. It has a rectangular nave, a sacristy extending to the east, and a tower to the west topped with a dome and lantern. The walls are whitewashed inside and out, with round-arched window openings giving the exterior a plain, orderly character.

The interior has been altered more than once over the years. Its most notable furnishing is the altar retable, carved by Isac Schullström, a sculptor much in demand across Värmland, and acquired for the church in 1757 — meaning it predates the current building and was carried over from the earlier church. Its central scene depicts the crucifixion.

At the 1816 consecration, the altar and pulpit had been combined into a single so-called altar-pulpit, a design intended to give the sermon greater prominence within the service. This arrangement was later changed, and the pulpit seen today dates from a restoration in 1916. A font of Kolmården marble was added in 1947, and the altarpiece painting is the work of Tage Rhodin.

The church also has an organ history worth a brief mention: an instrument by Nordfors & Co of Lidköping was installed in 1916, followed by a mechanical organ built by Olof Hammarberg in 1954.
