Los kyrka, in the village of Los in Gävleborg County, is the parish church of Los-Hamra församling within the Church of Sweden. Its plain white timber exterior and slender tower reflect a history closely tied to early mining and glassworking in this remote forest district.

The area around Los was first settled by Finnish forest colonists in the early 1600s, and from the 1730s the merchant Henric Kahlmeter ran industrial works here, extracting and processing cobalt and producing glass. Before any church existed, Sunday services were held in a room at Kahlmeter's manor house. Los remained under Färila parish until 1748, becoming a chapel parish in 1820 and finally an independent parish, also encompassing Hamra, in 1846 or 1847 (sources differ slightly on the exact year).

The first burial ground nearby dates from 1750, sited a little west of the present church. The original timber church, a simple hall building without a tower, was built around 1818–1819 to designs from the Överintendentsämbetet, the royal office responsible for public buildings. Once Los became its own parish, the church was remodelled in 1848 to designs by Johan Adolf Hawerman, under master builders Jakob Norin and Johan Nordell; it was at this point that the tower was added and the building took on essentially its present exterior appearance, in a historicising mixed style with white-painted panelling, classical window surrounds and pilaster strips, topped by a slender octagonal lantern with a cross-tipped spire.

Soon after this rebuilding, the chancel wall and its combined altar-and-pulpit were decorated by the artist Albert (also recorded as S. A.) Blombergsson, giving the interior its distinctive mid-19th-century, neoclassically inflected character.

A thorough restoration in 1937, based on proposals by the architect Knut Nordenskjöld, aimed to bring out the interior's original stylistic character; pyramidal finials were added to the chancel rail, and a doorway on the south wall was replaced with a window. An extension built at the same time to house a boiler room was removed in 2020.

Among the church's furnishings is a pine font carved in 1953 by the sculptor Olof Ahlberg, its sides decorated with three relief scenes, and a set of six eighteenth-century oil portraits held by the church. The altar-pulpit itself was completed about a decade after the church was finished. The present organ, built in 1946 by Harald Lindegren of Gothenburg, incorporates the façade of an earlier 1880 instrument by E. A. Setterquist & Son; it replaced an even earlier organ supplied in 1870 by Anders Victor Lundahl of Malmö.
