Livereds kapell: The architects behind the chapel are Björn Edström and Christer Malmström. They drew inspiration for this universal ritual centre from, among other places, Skogskyrkogården in southern Stockholm.

The building is characterised by its asymmetrical, tower-like structure with rounded corners. Strictly speaking, it is not quite accurate to call the building a chapel; it is rather a ceremonial building, open to all faiths. Those who look closely will find an arrow in dark wood, elegantly inlaid in the wood-strip parquet flooring. The arrow points in the direction of Mecca.

Livereds kapell is the Church of Sweden Mölndal's ceremonial venue. Here it is possible to hold funeral ceremonies without religious symbols. There is full equipment for sound, lighting and projection.

The cemetery office is also located here, answering questions about grave maintenance and graves.
