Långshyttans kyrka is a parish church in Långshyttan, part of Hedemora, Husby och Garpenbergs församling in the Diocese of Västerås. It was consecrated in 1952 by Bishop John Cullberg, and its unusual origins as a converted dwelling make it a distinctive stop for visitors to this Dalarna ironworking community.

The story of this church begins not with a foundation stone but with an ordinary house. The building originally served as the residence of the inspector at the Edsken ironworks. When Sandvikens Jernverk AB was formed and operations at Edsken wound down in 1878, the house was moved to Långshyttan, where it continued as staff accommodation for the Kloster works until 1950.

Before the church existed, villagers faced a long walk of nearly a Swedish mile over Kyrkberget to reach the parish church at Husby, prompting services to be held instead in the local elementary school. There had once been plans to build a proper church on Tyllingberget, where a cemetery and chapel of rest — designed by Ragnar Hjorth and consecrated in 1928 — had already been established, but the difficult economic climate of the period prevented the project going ahead.

The turning point came when Fagersta Bruks AB donated the former inspector's house to Husby parish for use as a place of worship. With funds raised locally, including support from Husby savings bank and Fagersta Bruks itself, the building was converted into a church according to designs by Martin Westerberg, leading to its consecration in 1952.

A pipe organ of thirteen stops was added in 1955, built by the Grönlund workshop in Gammelstad and largely funded by Fagersta Bruks. Among the church's fittings, visitors can look out for the 1953 font and the altar crucifix, both carved by Erik Sand, a baptismal candlestick from 1958 by Angela Gårding, and eight brass chandeliers designed by Sven Hesselgren.
