Sura kyrka is a parish church in Sura-Ramnäs församling, Västerås stift, standing beside the Strömsholm Canal just west of Surahammar in Västmanland. Built in the late nineteenth century, it replaced an older medieval church nearby, known today as Sura gamla kyrka.

Discussions about replacing the old village church began as early as 1878, and the present building was erected in 1890–1892 to designs by the architect Gustaf Petterson of the Royal Board of Public Works in Stockholm. The building work was carried out by the master builder G. Johansson of Skövde, with local oversight from builder Brage of Surahammar. The church was raised on the highest point of a ridge, close to its medieval predecessor, and was consecrated on 21 August 1892 by Bishop Gottfrid Billing.

The new church was built in a neo-Romanesque style. According to local accounts, the dedication service featured a great deal of hymn singing accompanied by a harmonium, since the organ intended for the new building had not yet been moved across from the old church.

In 1935 the church was remodelled and its ceiling fitted with vaulting, and it was reconsecrated by Bishop Einar Billing in December of that year. The chancel contains paintings created between 1945 and 1956 by the artist Nils-Aaron Berge, adding a distinctive twentieth-century decorative layer to the interior.

Several older furnishings were carried over from the medieval church, including a Baroque-style pulpit and a medieval processional crucifix, both of which give visitors a tangible link to Sura's earlier religious life on the site.

The church has had several organs over the years. An 1853 instrument was moved from the old church in 1892, and later organs were installed and subsequently relocated elsewhere, including one that eventually found a home in Avesta. The current organ was built in 1983 by Walter Thür Orgelbyggen AB of Torshälla, incorporating the façade from an earlier 1944 instrument designed by Erik Fant. A smaller mechanical chancel organ was added in 1980.
