Landa kyrka is a small medieval church in Frillesås, in the Kungsbacka district of Halland, notable for its rediscovered wall paintings and richly carved seventeenth-century pulpit. Built around 1200, it stands in a wooded valley and remains a striking example of Halland's rural ecclesiastical architecture.

The oldest parts of the church date from around 1200, and its plan suggests it may have been built with help from monks at Ås kloster; it is thought to be the earliest surviving church on the site, as records of its founding were lost in a fire at Ölmevalla rectory in the 1600s. The medieval chancel was demolished in 1788, when the building was lengthened eastward and given its present rounded east end; the tower was added shortly afterwards, while the sacristy was not built until a major restoration in 1915.

The church sits on clay soil, and its heavy stone tower has subsided noticeably over time. A bishop's visitation in 1836 recorded that the tower had sunk by roughly two metres, and from a distance it is still visible today that the tower leans.

Inside, the wooden barrel-vaulted ceiling carries decorative paintings from 1804 by Peter Hallberg and the Varberg wallpaper painter Jacob Magnus Hultgren, who also painted the pulpit and altarpiece. These ceiling paintings have never been overpainted, though they were cleaned during the 1915 restoration. In 2001, restoration work uncovered older limewash paintings on the walls beneath, dated to the late 15th or early 16th century; the two best-preserved scenes show the young Jesus in the Temple and the anointing of Jesus's feet at Bethany.

The pulpit, carved in 1699 by Hans Hultman, features figures of the four evangelists with their traditional symbols, and its canopy bears three royal monograms. The altarpiece, from the 1600s and possibly the work of Marcus Jäger the elder, is arranged in tiered sections culminating in a gilded sun, with symbolic panels including a Paschal lamb and a crown of thorns. A seventeenth-century pew also survives in the chancel. The church's altar slab, with its relic cavity, is a further medieval survival.
