Kvenneberga kapell is a small timber church in Alvesta municipality, Kronoberg County, built on the site of an earlier village church. Consecrated in 1983, it stands as a modern reconstruction inspired by the medieval building it replaced, and remains the parish church for the local Church of Sweden congregation.

The story of Kvenneberga kapell begins with the demolition of its predecessor, an old wooden church condemned by Bishop Esaias Tegnér. Despite local objections, the medieval church was torn down in 1841, with parishioners instead expected to share a church with the neighbouring Hjortsberga congregation. The loss was keenly felt in Kvenneberga, and the idea of one day rebuilding a chapel on the old church site persisted for generations.

Funds for a bell tower were gathered during the 1940s, and the tower itself was raised in 1950, long before any chapel followed. A foundation was formed in 1979 to pursue the fuller ambition of reconstructing a place of worship resembling the original church in form and scale. Architect Sven Karlsson (recorded elsewhere as Sven Carlsson) of Växjö was engaged to design the new building, and parishioners contributed both building materials and money towards its construction. The chapel was consecrated on Whit Monday, 23 May 1983, by Bishop Sven Lindegård.

Built in timber on the foundations of the demolished medieval church, the chapel deliberately echoes a medieval style. It has a rectangular nave, a straight-ended chancel to the east, a porch to the west, and a sacristy against the chancel's north wall — a simple, traditional plan typical of rural Swedish churches of earlier centuries, here rendered in a twentieth-century rebuilding.

Inside, the altarpiece depicting the Transfiguration of Christ was painted by Brita Juel Soop, itself a copy of Fredric Westin's altarpiece in Sankt Jacobs kyrka in Stockholm. Other furnishings include a wooden font, a pulpit with a sounding board decorated with gilded symbols, and a triumphal crucifix copied from an original still kept in Hjortsberga church. The enclosed pew fronts are painted with floral motifs, and the organ gallery is decorated with depictions of musical instruments — small details that together recall the character of the vanished medieval church the new building was built to commemorate.
