The church was designed by architect Carl-Anders Hernek and consecrated on 11 December 1971. It was originally built with a flat roof in the style typical of 1970s church architecture. During a renovation in 1988–1989, the exterior was altered with the addition of an imitation copper-clad pitched roof, giving the building a rather different appearance from its original design.
Inside, the church hall ends in a rounded apse, a detail drawing on Romanesque tradition. Under the same roof as the worship space are function rooms used for preschool activities, children's groups, music activities and other parish work, while an adjoining wing houses the parish office and staff facilities.
The altar and the cross behind it are made of pale wood, with artistic decoration by Kurt Dejmo. A pulpit and font in matching wood originally completed the furnishings, but these have since been removed; a new glass font by Lars Sestervik was installed in 2020.
The church organ, built by Lindgrens orgelbyggeri, has seven stops on a single manual, with an attached pedalboard and divided registers. A free-standing bell tower of red brick stands in front of the church, holding two bells cast by the Bergholtz foundry, tuned to B in the fourth octave and C sharp in the fifth.
