Juoksengi kyrka is a parish church in Övertorneå, Norrbotten, close to the Torne river and the border with Finland. Built in the early 1960s and owned by a local foundation rather than the Church of Sweden directly, it reflects the community effort behind many small northern churches.

The idea of building a church at Juoksengi first arose during a bishop's visitation in 1943. A local collection followed, and in 1951 villagers formed a foundation to oversee the project. Construction began in 1962, and the first Christmas service was held there that same year even before the building was finished. The church was formally consecrated on 2 February 1963.

The building was designed by the architect Jan Thurfjell of Luleå, using brick and timber. Its gable ends are built in red brick while the long walls are rendered white, beneath a steep saddle roof. Inside, the rectangular worship space has a sharply pitched ceiling of whitened timber panelling supported on laminated wood beams, with open pews on a wooden floor. Three narrow vertical windows of coloured glass light the wall behind the altar.

In 1983 the church was extended with a parish hall, kitchen and other ancillary rooms, an addition consecrated the following year. The building remains under the care of the foundation set up by the villagers, with the parish contributing annually towards its upkeep and much of the day-to-day work carried out voluntarily by the local community.

A bell tower was erected beside the church in 1971 to a design by the same architect, replacing an earlier structure. Rot damage later required this tower to be rebuilt in the same style in 1994. The church also houses an organ transferred in 1969 from Övertorneå kyrka, built by the Grönlund organ workshop.
