The Chapel of Light and the Chapel of Hope (Ljusets och Hoppets kapell) stand together on the Örnäs cemetery beside Hertsövägen in Luleå. Connected to one another, the two chapels serve the local community primarily for funerals, as well as for occasional music and devotional gatherings.

The two chapels are built adjoining one another within the Örnäsgriftegården cemetery in the Örnäset district of Luleå, and belong to Luleå Cathedral parish within the Diocese of Luleå. A crematorium stands directly behind the buildings.

As their function suggests, the chapels are used above all for funeral ceremonies, though they also host musical events and quiet devotions. The Chapel of Light and the Chapel of Hope offer accessible seating for around 100 and 30 people respectively, reflecting their differing scale and use.

There is little published history of the chapels' design or construction, and visitors should not expect elaborate architectural ornament; their significance lies chiefly in their ongoing role within the life and rites of the local parish.
