Horndals kyrka is a 20th-century parish church in the village of Horndal, Dalarna, standing beside the main road through the settlement. It belongs to By parish in the Diocese of Västerås and offers a straightforward example of mid-century Swedish church design.

The present building dates from 1958, replacing an earlier wooden chapel that had served the community since 1907. It was designed by the architect Carl-Olof Deurell, whose plain, functional style was typical of many Swedish churches built in the postwar decades to serve growing industrial villages such as Horndal, which grew up around the local ironworks.

The interior decoration was created by the artists Allan Runefält and Nils-Aron Berge, giving the otherwise simple church its distinguishing artistic character. Visitors interested in modern Swedish ecclesiastical art may find their contribution the most rewarding feature of a visit.

The church organ was built in 1959 by the Gothenburg firm Lindegrens Orgelbyggeri, a maker active in Sweden during this period of church construction. As with many organs of its generation, it reflects the tonal preferences of mid-20th-century Swedish organ building rather than any older tradition, since the church itself has no older instrument or building phase to draw on.
