Häglinge kyrka is a parish church in the village of Häglinge, in Sösdala parish, Skåne, forming part of the Church of Sweden within the Diocese of Lund. Its plain limestone-rendered exterior conceals a story of cost-cutting, rejected grand designs and a Victorian-era rebuilding.

The present church, consecrated in 1877, replaced a medieval predecessor that Bishop Wilhelm Flensburg described as having become inadequate and too small for the growing congregation. Rendered natural stone walls and a plain saddle roof give the building an unassuming, functional appearance typical of many rural Swedish churches of the period, with seating recorded for around a thousand worshippers.

An earlier, more ambitious scheme is part of the church's history: in 1871 the noted architect Helgo Zettervall had drawn up plans for a new church in Latin cross form, but the congregation rejected them as too expensive. The building that was eventually erected followed simpler designs by Johan Fredrik Åbom, themselves based on drawings by the Lund master builder Peder Christian Sörensen, with construction carried out by the Malmö builder Nils Andersson.

Inside, the altarpiece brings continuity with the older church: it incorporates the mid-eighteenth-century altar composition by Johan Ullberg, depicting Christ on the cross with John and Mary below, salvaged from the previous building. Flanking figures of Saint Olaf and Saint John, taken from a sixteenth-century altar cabinet, add a further layer of older craftsmanship within the newer setting.

The church's organ history reflects a common Swedish pattern of replacement and modernisation. An eight-stop organ was built in 1877 by Anders Victor Lundahl of Malmö for the new church; the current pneumatic instrument dates from 1955, the work of Olof Hammarberg of Gothenburg, and includes features such as fixed and free combinations and automatic pedal changes typical of organs of that era.
