Fjärås kyrka is the parish church of Fjärås-Förlanda, standing on the northern end of the Fjärås Bräcka ridge in Kungsbacka municipality, Halland. Its origins lie in a medieval Romanesque building, though the present structure dates largely from an 18th-century rebuilding.

The church's oldest fabric belonged to a Romanesque building thought to date from the late 1100s or early 1200s, remains of which were uncovered beneath the floor during restoration work in 1937–38. A west tower was added in 1700–01, reusing timber from an older bell frame, and the building was slightly enlarged. By the late 1600s the church was already considered too small for the parish, a complaint recorded at a bishop's visitation in 1691.

A far more extensive rebuilding in 1762–63 effectively created a new church, nearly doubling its size. The medieval south wall and chancel were demolished, the nave extended, and a new sacristy and porch added, with further alterations continuing until 1768. The tower itself has had a chequered history: rebuilt in 1801 with a tall, narrow spire, it blew down entirely in a storm in December 1814 and was replaced by a lower structure.

Inside, the gallery front dates from around 1650 and carries painted panels of biblical figures, probably repainted in 1724 by Johan Ross the Elder over older decoration; a Danish-language inscription beneath later Swedish text was partly uncovered again in 1938. The altarpiece, from about 1630 in Renaissance and Baroque style, incorporates a Last Supper scene also painted by Ross in 1724, together with a resurrection painting added during the 1938 restoration. The pulpit, of similar date to the altarpiece, was moved to its present position around 1760 and retains painted panels attributed to Johan Ross the Younger.

Among the furnishings is a bronze font with a carved wooden lid bearing a 1596 inscription naming its donors; the font was broken at some point but was restored and returned to use in 1938. A triumphal figure of Christ blowing a trumpet-like instrument hangs in the chancel, dated to around 1740, and there is a Danish Bible of 1589 associated with Frederick II. Two bronze chandeliers survive, one dated 1656.

The church's organ history reflects several rebuildings: an early 18th-century instrument by Hans Henrik Cahman the Younger was destroyed by lightning in 1767, and a replacement built in 1805 was soon criticised for poor workmanship despite its ornate case. The current main organ, from 1974, retains the façade of an 1896 instrument by Salomon Molander & Co. A restoration in 1983–84 sought to restore the lighter colour scheme thought to reflect the building's original appearance.
