The church forms part of a wider parish building completed in 1974, with its chancel able to be closed off from the main hall by a sliding wall; this chancel was consecrated on 6 October 1974 by Bishop Ingmar Ström. The exterior is distinctive rather than traditional, built with brown brick walls, a glazed façade facing the square, and a roof partly covered in red-painted aluminium sheeting.
The building is now known as part of "Guds hus" (God's House), a shared project bringing together the Church of Sweden's Nacka parish, the Roman Catholic St Konrad's congregation, and the Muslim Association of Fisksätra. The plan envisages the Christian church and a planned mosque in separate parts of the building, linked by a shared meeting space intended for both Christians and Muslims.
Inside, visitors can see a font designed by Professor Christer Jonsson of Konstfack, installed in autumn 2002. At the rear of the hall hangs a large textile triptych by Ingrid Nilsson and Elisabeth Knall, depicting an archipelago landscape beneath a wide sky.
The church organ, built in 1983 by Walter Thür Orgelbyggen of Torshälla, replaced an earlier instrument from 1974 by the same firm. It is a small mechanical organ, characteristic of the modest, functional character of the building as a whole.
