Eggby kyrka is a parish church in Skara kommun, Västra Götaland, part of Valle församling within the Church of Sweden. Its medieval tower survives from an earlier church, while the main building dates from the mid-eighteenth century, and it holds a notably old font.

A stone church stood on this site in the Middle Ages, and towards the end of the 1200s or around 1300 it was rebuilt as a cross-shaped church, though it is possible the earlier building already had this form. The tower is of medieval origin, though it is unclear exactly when in the medieval period it was constructed.

The church underwent a radical rebuilding in the mid-eighteenth century, when a new nave was erected and only the medieval tower was retained. An interior renovation followed in 1927–1929 under the architect Axel Forssén.

Today the church consists of a rectangular nave with a three-sided chancel to the east, a sacristy to the north, and the west tower, topped with a lantern, through which the main entrance passes. Inside, the ceiling is covered by a wooden barrel vault set on a profiled cornice.

Among the church's furnishings is a font from the twelfth century, attributed to the style of the sculptor known as Master Harald, with a pointed cover bearing engraved images of the apostles added in the fifteenth century. Textiles include a chasuble in yellow and red silk from the sixteenth century, and a set of altar cloth and chasuble in green and white velvet dating from 1687. The altarpiece was made in 1780 by Johan Magnus Hammerdal, along with the pulpit and two altar paintings from the same period. Among the church bells, the middle one is of late-medieval type, uninscribed but bearing four coin impressions, and gravestones from the 1500s and 1600s have been built into the walls.

The present organ was supplied in 1915 by the Gothenburg builder Eskil Lundén and was later modified with some additional stops, though the exact date of that change is not recorded.
