Dagsås kyrka stands on the shore of Lake Ottersjön in Varberg municipality, Halland. Rebuilt after a devastating fire in 1912, the current church was designed by architect Axel Lindegren on the surviving medieval walls and completed in 1914.

Dagsås parish lies where open farmland to the west meets beech-clad forest to the east, part of the central Halland beech woodland area. At its heart sits the old church village, surrounded by three substantial farms of medieval origin, and the wider parish is recognised for its archaeological remains and well-preserved historic settlement.

The first church here was built in the thirteenth or fourteenth century, extended eastward in stone during the 1690s, and given a wooden tower in 1791. That building was completely destroyed by fire in January 1912. Its successor was raised using the older stone walls where possible, with a rectangular nave, a three-sided chancel of the same width, and a new stone tower to the west replacing the earlier timber one. The south-west porch, once a storage room, was converted into a sacristy in 1984.

Externally and internally the rebuilt church largely echoes its predecessor: whitewashed walls, both inside and out, are pierced by round-arched window openings, the nave roof is hipped over the three-sided east end, and the tower is capped by a dome with an enclosed lantern. Inside, a painted timber barrel vault covers the nave, raised higher above the organ gallery.

All the fittings date from the 1914 rebuilding, drawing on older models. The altarpiece is a copy of a painting by Danish artist Johan Thomas Skovgaard depicting the boy Jesus in the Temple, and a further copy, of an Austrian painting of Christ's baptism, hangs in the chancel. The wooden pulpit, altar structure and font were made in 1914 by the Wallström workshop; the glazed earthenware font is a copy of the original 1578 font, now kept at the Halland Museum of Art in Halmstad. A crucifix on the altar, probably of South German workmanship, dates from 1978.

The church bell was cast in 1914 from the metal of two earlier bells lost in the fire, one of which had been made in the eighteenth century. The pneumatic organ dates from 1938, with later modifications.
