Church in Berg parish, Sydöstra Jämtlands pastorat, southern district. Bergs kyrka was built over four years and was finally consecrated in 1797. However, before this, there was an old medieval church on the site, probably dating from the 12th century.

At its consecration, the church was considered the largest church in Jämtland. The master builder was Christian Loell, and the architect was probably Thure G Wennberg. In the rectangular church room, elements from the older, demolished church are mixed with details from the new church. The stately altarpiece on the south wall was made by Jonas Granberg in 1746-1747. The painting depicting the Crucifixion of Christ was made by Carl Hofverberg.

Summer-open church 2026, Monday-Friday, June-August, 09:00-15:30.
