Bårslövs kyrka stands whitewashed and clearly visible from the motorway in the old church village of Bårslöv, a short distance east of Helsingborg. A church has stood on this site since medieval times, though the present building dates from 1858.

The current church replaced an earlier medieval structure, of which the west gable, dating from the 1100s, and the tower, from the 1400s, survive. The 1858 rebuilding followed proposals put forward by Carl Georg Brunius, with the work carried out by builder Anders Haf of Viken. The church is constructed of fieldstone, incorporating sandstone salvaged from the demolished older building, and is rendered and whitewashed, with a tile roof except for the tower and sacristy, which are covered in copper.

Inside, the altarpiece depicting Christ blessing the children was painted by Hugo Gehlin in 1930. An earlier altarpiece showing Christ on the cross, signed by P. Löfstedt in 1811, is also preserved in the church. The richly carved oak pulpit is a Renaissance work from 1598, attributed to the so-called Kronborg Master, decorated with figures representing the virtues.

The church's oldest furnishing is an oak triumphal crucifix dating from the second half of the 1400s. Other notable items include a brass christening bowl made in the Netherlands in the early 1600s, a bronze chandelier from the 1790s, and two bronze bells, cast in 1762 and 1782.

The present organ was built in 1967 by A. Mårtensson's Orgelfabrik of Lund, replacing an earlier instrument installed in 1885 by the Copenhagen builder Knud Olsen.
