Älta kyrka is a modern parish church in Älta, near Nacka in Stockholm's diocese. Consecrated in 1994, it forms part of a larger residential building and reflects a distinctive late-twentieth-century approach to church design.

Unlike many Swedish churches built as freestanding structures, Älta kyrka was created as an extension to the rear of an existing five-storey apartment building. It was designed by architect Per Johansson and consecrated in September 1994. The exterior walls are rendered white, with a gently broken roofline; a cross with a floral wreath decorates the north-east facade, while the church's name appears on the south-east side. The worship space itself is subtly distinguished from the rest of the building by being slightly taller.

Inside, the walls are glazed in a rust-brown to orange tone, and the ceiling is lined with white-painted pine panelling. Behind the altar, a stained-glass window by artist Lars Abrahamsson depicts branches laden with leaves and a single red apple, providing a striking focal point within an otherwise simple, contemporary interior.

Several furnishings were designed as a coordinated set. The altar, created by Abrahamsson, has a top of limestone quarried at Borghamn in Östergötland. The pulpit takes the form of a lectern-style ambo, also designed by Abrahamsson. The font features a silver bowl by silversmith Hans Liljedahl, decorated inside with a dove motif, resting on a stand again designed by Abrahamsson; Liljedahl was also responsible for the church's other silverware.

The church is lit by three wrought-iron chandeliers fitted with halogen lamps, designed by Gunter Lambert for the Nicolas Thomkins workshop, adding a decorative but functional touch to the modern interior.
