Almtunakyrkan is a twentieth-century parish church in the Fålhagen district of Uppsala, part of Uppsala Cathedral parish. Completed in 1959 to designs by the noted architect Peter Celsing, it offers visitors a striking example of modern Swedish church architecture.

The church was built in dark red brick, with interior fittings crafted from Japanese oak. Its layout combines a church hall to the north with an adjoining residential building to the south and a parish hall on the lower ground floor, forming a compact, functional complex typical of mid-century Swedish parish planning.

Inside, the atmosphere is deliberately subdued and shadowy, intended to evoke the character of medieval monastery churches. A large expanse of glazing on one wall provides contrast to this dim interior, while the ceiling is formed of three parallel barrel vaults lined with wood panelling, giving the space a distinctive rhythm overhead.

The altarpiece is a triptych completed in 1963 by the artist Ragnar Johansson; during Lent it is customary for a different work by the same artist to be displayed in its place. To the right of the altar stands a cubic wooden pulpit, and the church also contains an ambo. The granite font was made to designs by the sculptor Sivert Lindblom.

Outside, on the boundary wall of the church grounds, stands a sculpture by Eric Ståhl known as "The Pilgrim", added in 1979, marking the entrance to the site with a modern devotional image.

The organ was built in 1959 by Grönlunds Orgelbyggeri of Gammelstad, a mechanical instrument with slider chests housed in a case that can be closed with two doors, a detail organ enthusiasts may appreciate.
