Nevishögs kyrka is a cross-shaped church on the edge of Staffanstorp, in the hamlet of Nevishög. It is the only church of this plan in Sankt Staffans församling, and its oldest parts date back to the 1200s, making it one of the area's more historically layered parish churches.

The church probably has Romanesque origins, with the nave dating from around 1200 and later medieval vaulting added to the building. It was constructed of split natural stone, known locally as "Hallasten", thought to have been quarried at Hardeberga. A tower was added in the 1400s. The building's distinctive cross shape came later: sources agree that two transepts were added in the 1800s, though accounts differ slightly on the exact sequence, with one noting the north transept in 1845 and the south in 1856 (when the old chancel was also replaced by the present three-sided one), while another simply describes both transepts as a mid-19th-century addition.

The font, carved from sandstone, is the oldest object inside the church and dates from the Romanesque period. Its bowl is decorated with rope-like mouldings, and around the base are carved lion heads with open mouths. The pulpit dates from the 1600s and is modestly decorated with winged angel heads, described by one source as relatively unremarkable in artistic terms.

The altarpiece, from the late 1500s, is built up from six panels, three rectangular and three arched, originally bearing only text; images were added in the 1700s depicting scenes including the Annunciation, the Last Supper, Gethsemane, the Crucifixion, the Resurrection and the Ascension. Above the altar, a chancel window has held a stained-glass depiction of Christ blessing since the 1930s, the work of the artist Hugo Gehlin (also spelled Ghelin in one source).
