Långelanda kyrka: Långelanda has had a church since the Middle Ages, before the community of Svanesund existed. This is why Långelanda church is located outside the community it belongs to.

As early as 1388 a church was built on this site. It was made of stone and had a free-standing bell tower, which was later replaced by a red-painted tower. When the population increased during the 19th century, a larger church was needed, so the old one was demolished. The new stone church was consecrated on 20 September 1854 by the court chaplain N. J. Sjöstedt. The tower from the old church was retained, but it was painted white. The church is a typical example of neoclassical rural church architecture. The interior also has neoclassical features, but is more marked by later modernisations. Restorations were carried out in 1909 and 1945.

Altar The altar is joined together with the altarpiece, which is made of wood. It has painted and gilded relief decoration. In the centre stands a tall cross with a crown of thorns. Some parts probably come from the old church. The altarpiece painting is from 1852. In the central field is the all-seeing eye, and on the sides are symbols of the Eucharist. The altar table and altar rail are from 1852. On the front of the altar table are beautifully carved and painted pilasters. These were brought out during the 1945 restoration and may possibly have belonged to an older altar decoration from 1643.

Pulpit The pulpit is in the Baroque style and comes from the old church. It dates from 1638. On the four panels of the pulpit body are depicted the four evangelists.

Organ The organ with its facade was made in 1900, but the organ mechanism was rebuilt in the 1920s, 1940s and 1960s. The current organ mechanism was made in 1997 by Hammarberg, who reused some of the older pipes.

Font The font is made of wood and dates from 1929. It was made and donated by churchwarden Sander Johansson. The baptismal dish is from the 17th century and made of brass. On its base the Annunciation is depicted.

Votive ship The church's votive ship was donated in 1974 by Oskar Tisell's children in memory of the centenary of their father's birth.

Churchyard Långelanda churchyard has grown as the need has increased. The oldest part of the churchyard lies on the hill around the church. When the new, larger church was built, some graves ended up close to or beneath the church building. New sections of the churchyard were laid out in 1868, 1923, 1943 and 1980. There is also a smaller memorial grove.
