Vansbro kyrka is a twentieth-century timber church standing on a pine-covered rise beside the river Vanån in Vansbro, in the western Swedish province of Dalarna. It serves Järna med Nås och Äppelbo församling within the Diocese of Västerås.

Vansbro grew as a community only in the early twentieth century, and it was not until 1902 that a dedicated clergy post was established here. In the meantime, congregants made do with temporary premises such as a mission house and the local school. A churchyard site was chosen just outside the town centre and consecrated in 1933, and that same year it was decided to build the church itself on the opposite side of a nearby road.

The church was designed by the architect Magnus Dahlander and consecrated on 28 July 1935 by Bishop Einar Billing. It is built of timber, with a rectangular nave and a straight-ended chancel of the same width, beneath a hipped roof topped by a small ridge turret. Originally the exterior walls were painted grey and the roof covered in wooden shingles, giving the building a plainer appearance than it has today.

A significant remodelling took place in 1983, when the church underwent both interior and exterior alterations under architect Hilding Lögdberg, who had earlier added a parish hall in 1980. The exterior walls were repainted the traditional Swedish red (Falu red) to match the parish hall, the roof covering was changed from shingles to copper sheeting, and the interior received a brighter, more colourful decorative scheme, with artistic work by Astrid Theselius. Lighting and heating systems were further updated in 2001.

Inside, the pulpit dates from the church's construction and was designed by Dahlander himself, forming part of his original architectural scheme. The organ, built by the Danish firm Marcussen & Søn and installed in 1953, has sixteen stops; it replaced an earlier pedal harmonium used in the church's first years.

A freestanding bell tower stands to the south of the church, also erected in 1935, with a timber post construction and a saddle roof. Its bell dates from 1912 and originally hung in a bell tower at the local school before being moved to its present position.
