Utvängstorps kyrka is a parish church in Västergötland, largely dating from the later 12th century, though later rebuilt. Legend links its origins to the English missionary Saint Sigfrid, and a pilgrim path now begins near the church.

The present building stands on a site with a long Christian history. According to local tradition, Saint Sigfrid, an English missionary, converted the people of Utvängstorp during the 11th century and struck his staff into the ground, causing a spring to appear; a small wooden church was said to have been built beside it. A fragment claimed to be part of Sigfrid's staff is preserved in the church as a relic, and the spring itself can still be seen a short distance away. The church as it now appears mostly dates from a thorough rebuilding in 1838, when a new choir and sacristy were added to the east and a new timber porch built to the west, though the core of the structure is believed to go back to the 1100s.

The church is built of grey stone with rendered, whitewashed walls, and its roofs are covered with double-curved cement tiles. A detached bell tower stands just south of the church, dating from 1735. Early in the 17th century the interior was decorated with limewash paintings, which were later covered over but rediscovered and conserved during restoration work in 1989, when the walls' plastic paint was removed and replaced with traditional limewash.

Inside, the font is a richly carved medieval piece attributed to the so-called Bolum school of stonecarving. Above it hangs a font angel dated to 1764, a traditional Swedish feature used to lower a wreath or crown during baptisms. The pulpit, unusually positioned directly above the altar within a decorative portal, dates from 1710.

A pilgrim route of just over three kilometres begins near the church, with stopping points along the way inspired by the twelve beads of the Frälsarkransen, a Swedish prayer bracelet.
