Tveta kyrka is a parish church near Mörlunda in Kalmar county, part of Mörlunda-Tveta församling within the Church of Sweden's Linköping diocese. Its origins reach back to the 12th century, and its walls hold rare medieval carvings alongside centuries of rebuilding.

The nave dates from the 1100s, making it one of the older parts of the building, while the timber porch at the west end is believed to date from the 1600s. A stone sacristy and a timber chancel were added in 1726, and a separate wooden bell tower was erected in 1662, later restored between 2013 and 2016 when its long diagonal struts were replaced and re-shingled.

One of the church's most distinctive features is found on the outer north wall, where two large ship carvings depicting medieval cargo vessels were rediscovered during restoration work on the facade in 1993. Scratched into wet plaster by lay hands with evident knowledge of shipbuilding, the carvings have been dated, on the basis of the vessel type shown, to around the 1200s or 1300s. They are thought to recall a period when the nearby River Emån was navigable as far as the Mörlunda area.

The church suffered plunder and serious damage during Danish military raids in 1567. Originally it had only small, high-set window openings; these were replaced with the larger windows seen today during a major rebuilding in 1726, when the five-sided timber chancel, clad in tarred wooden shingles, was also constructed.

Among the church's oldest furnishings are two wooden saint figures: a Saint Michael dated to the 1200s and a Saint Mary from the 1400s. An iron-clad medieval door also survives, now reused as the entrance to the sacristy.

The church has had more than one organ over the years; a 19th-century instrument was followed by a mid-20th-century pneumatic organ, which was in turn replaced by an electronic instrument in 1991, installed behind the older organ case.
