Svenljunga kyrka was inaugurated in May 1830.

Svenljunga kyrka was inaugurated in May 1830, following a long period of dispute over whether Svenljunga and Ullasjö should build a shared church. The church is the third to stand in Svenljunga köping. The altarpiece depicts Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration, flanked by two stained-glass windows: to the north, the birth of Jesus, and to the south, Jesus on the cross.
