Söderbykarls kyrka is a medieval parish church in Söderby-Karl, in Uppsala diocese, Sweden. Built around 1300, it retains much of its original medieval exterior and is noted for its late-medieval vault paintings, uncovered during restoration in the early twentieth century.

The church began as a simple hall church with a sacristy, built around 1300 or shortly afterwards. A porch was added later, possibly still within the fourteenth century. Brick vaults over the nave, chancel and porch were probably constructed in the mid-1400s, replacing an earlier wooden trefoil vault whose timber framework largely survives within the structure. In the 1790s the sacristy's original brick vault was replaced with a flat wooden ceiling.

The building stands beneath a copper-clad saddle roof and is constructed of natural stone with brick used in the vaults and door and window surrounds. The exterior walls are roughcast with smooth corners and openings, and the windows are mostly round-arched, though the openings in the east gable are pointed. Despite later alterations, the church's outward appearance remains largely medieval in character.

Inside, the most striking feature is the survival of late-medieval vault paintings, which were never plastered over and were revealed during a 1910 restoration overseen by the architect Fredrik Falkenberg. That restoration also saw the addition of a boiler room beneath an extended sacristy, a new west entrance, and the open pew arrangement seen today.

Among the older furnishings, the church preserves a sandstone font from the thirteenth century, along with a censer dated to the thirteenth or fourteenth century, and a chalice and paten from the 1300s. According to earlier scholarship, the paten was donated by a local rector in memory of his parents, though such attributions from medieval sources should be treated with some caution.

The church's organ has an interesting history: an instrument with seven stops was built by Eric German in 1750 and later expanded to ten. The current organ dates from 1887, the work of P L Åkerman & Lund of Stockholm, and was renovated in 1978.
