Sjukhuskyrkan i Varberg is a quiet room at Hallands sjukhus Varberg.

In a hospital, you can experience within a single day how life swings from joy and security to the deepest sorrow and despair. Sometimes it is not so dramatic, but there can still be a need to talk with someone.

Sjukhuskyrkan (the Hospital Church) is there for you, whether you are a patient, a relative, or a member of staff.

Do you need to have a faith?

You do not need to have a faith in order to talk with us. Those of us who work in the hospital church have a Christian faith and experience of God being with us in life, both in joy and sorrow. You decide what you need to talk about.

If you wish, we are happy to put you in contact with a parish in your home town or with representatives of other religions.

You can reach us by telephone, through ward staff, or by visiting us.

Please get in touch with us when:

- you would like someone to talk to.
- you feel lonely.
- you want to reflect with someone about your life situation.
- you want to talk about spiritual questions.
- you would like intercessory prayer or Holy Communion.
