Sandhults kyrka is a parish church in Västra Götaland, about ten kilometres north-west of Borås, within Skara diocese. Built in 1842, it stands on the site of an earlier medieval church and remains a good example of Swedish Empire-style church architecture.

The present stone church was built in 1842 by master builder Peter Pettersson of Sandhult, to designs by the architect Jacob Wilhelm Gerss. It replaced a medieval church that had stood on roughly the same site and was demolished to make way for the new building. The church has a single nave with a large rounded chancel to the north-east and a tower to the south-west, with a sacristy attached beside the chancel. Inside, the light-filled interior largely retains its original nineteenth-century decoration.

Among the church's furnishings, the most historically significant is a sandstone font carved around the year 1300, in a style influenced by fonts from Gotland. It is finely worked in three parts, with a bowl decorated with shell ornamentation and a tapering shaft, and is noted for its well-preserved and sharply cut carving. The altarpiece, shaped like a temple gable with a cross, and the pulpit with its sounding board were both made in 1842 by Johannes Andersson of Mjöbäck and decorated in white and gold, matching the character of the new building.

The church's large bell is of a late-medieval type and bears no inscription, suggesting it may predate the present building and could have come from its medieval predecessor.

The organ has an interesting history spanning three instruments. The first was built in 1869 by Erik Adolf Setterquist of Örebro, who also designed the still-surviving organ facade. It was rebuilt and enlarged in 1924 by the Mårtensson organ workshop of Lund, which electrified the wind supply, though several older pipes and the historic facade were retained. The current organ, installed in 1974 by the Hammarberg organ-building firm near Gothenburg, is fully mechanical and again uses the original 1869 facade, though it is recorded as having been moved slightly within the tower.
