Reslövs kyrka, in the village of Reslöv in Skåne, stands on a site with roots going back over a thousand years. Its sandstone walls date largely from the Romanic period, and the building has grown and changed considerably since then.

Local tradition holds that a wooden church stood here as early as the 900s, when the Saxån river was navigable and Reslöv had its own small harbour, giving the settlement an early role as a gathering point for the surrounding district. The present stone church replaced it, built of hewn sandstone in Romanesque style towards the end of the 11th century or during the 12th century; sources differ slightly on the exact period, but it is generally placed in the first half of the 1100s. The long nave originally had separate entrances for women on the north side and men on the south, and it is said that every measurement in the building is divisible by three, a detail suggesting a deliberate, symbolic approach to its design.

An apse that once stood at the east end was demolished towards the end of the medieval period and replaced by a sacristy. Vaulted ceilings were added piecemeal: in the tower during the 1200s, and in the choir and nave during the 1300s and 1400s. Above the triumphal arch, fragments of Romanesque wall paintings survive from around the mid-1100s. The tower itself, originally built without any entrance and intended purely for defence and storage, was completed in the early 1400s.

The church reached its present cross-shaped layout through two later additions: a north transept in 1799 and a south transept in 1821. During Gustav Horn's military campaign in Skåne in 1645, a large bell was reportedly taken from the tower and carried off to Markaryd in Småland; the church's current bells are more recent, with the smaller cast in 1768 and the larger in 1910.

Among the furnishings, the grey sandstone font dates from around 1200 and is thought to have been carved in the workshop of the stonemason known as Mårten stenmästare, paired with a Dutch brass font basin from 1621. The pulpit, from the 1630s, is attributed to the school of Statius Otto, while the altarpiece was painted in 1634 by Hugo Gelin. A surviving cross is thought to come from an altar structure made by the woodcarver Johan Ullberg. An ornate chandelier was reportedly given to the church as a New Year's gift in January 1868 by C. F. Bellander, then owner of nearby Reslöv manor.

The church has had a series of organs, including instruments built in 1859 and 1909, before the current mechanical organ was installed in 1965 by the Danish firm Frederiksborgs Orgelbyggeri.
