Rångedala kyrka is a nineteenth-century parish church in the village of Rångedala, near Borås in western Sweden. Built in a restrained empire style with pink-toned walls and large windows, it stands on the site of an earlier, unrecorded medieval stone church.

The present church was built between 1846 and 1848, replacing a Romanesque stone church of unknown age that once stood on the same spot. When it was completed, the new building was still unpainted inside and out, and lacked both altar decoration and an organ; these were added gradually over the following years. Sandstone columns from the south portal of the older church were reused in the new building, providing a tangible link to what came before.

The long, light-filled interior culminates in a rounded chancel at the north-east end, lit by large round-arched windows, while the tower with its lantern and entrance stands at the south-west end. A vestry adjoins the chancel to the north-west. A renovation in 1980–1981 restored the interior's pink colour scheme and added a small devotional room and a space for quiet conversation beneath the gallery; a further renovation in 2025 addressed the tower rendering, roof slates, and exterior woodwork, along with new upholstery inside.

The altarpiece, depicting the Transfiguration of Christ, was donated to the church in the 1850s. Accounts differ slightly on the donor: one source names a Gothenburg merchant with family roots in nearby Finnekumla, while another credits a furniture dealer in Gothenburg with providing the frame, and attributes the painting itself to the artist Anders Gustaf Ljungström. The pulpit, made by local craftsman Lars Hansson of Holmen, is decorated with symbols representing baptism, the law, suffering and atonement.

Among the church's most striking treasures are two sandstone font bowls dating from the twelfth century, attributed to the stonemason Andreas, whose signed work also survives elsewhere in the region. One of these bowls is now used as a base for the other. According to one account, after the old church was demolished a font from this group was for a time used decoratively on gateposts before being brought back into the church around 1906, though the precise relationship between the surviving bowls and this story is not entirely clear from the available sources.

Painted panels on the gallery front show Christ, the twelve apostles and the four evangelists with their symbols, along with a depiction of Paul above the sacristy door. These paintings, originally from the old church, were reportedly stored for several decades in a nearby school building before being reinstalled in the church in 1933. The church also holds two undated late-medieval bells, the smaller of which is traditionally known as Karin, and organs dating from the twentieth century in both the gallery and the chancel.
