Österängs kyrka is a modern church in the Österäng district of Kristianstad, run jointly by the Church of Sweden and the Evangelical National Mission (EFS). Consecrated in 1975, it remains a lively venue for worship, music and community life.

The church was consecrated in 1975 by Bishop Olle Nivenius, originally rented from the municipal housing company Kristianstadsbyggen. In 1987 it was purchased by Heliga Trefaldighets församling (Holy Trinity parish), at which point EFS became a formal partner, establishing the building as a cooperative church shared between the two organisations.

Architecturally the building is simple and functional, reflecting its origins as a modest neighbourhood church built to serve a growing residential area rather than as a grand ecclesiastical statement.

The organ, installed in 1977 by Anders Persson Orgelbyggeri of Viken, is a small mechanical instrument typical of Swedish organ-building of the period.

Today the church is known chiefly for its active congregational life, hosting regular services, musical evenings and a well-established choir programme involving both children and adults, alongside broader community and youth activities.
